What awaits you!
- Day 1: May 22nd (Thursday) - Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the city of Nairobi where you will be picked up and driven to your hotel. Relax, unwind and pat yourself on the back for making it to Kenya! Welcome dinner at the hotel to meet other guests and members of our team and receive your guided itinerar
What awaits you!
- Day 1: May 22nd (Thursday) - Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the city of Nairobi where you will be picked up and driven to your hotel. Relax, unwind and pat yourself on the back for making it to Kenya! Welcome dinner at the hotel to meet other guests and members of our team and receive your guided itinerary.
- Day 2: May 23rd (Friday) - Full day exploring Nairobi. We will start with breakfast at hotel, then head out to the famous giraffe center, and the Bomas of Kenya where we will be learn about the tradition and tribes of Kenya. We will head to a local market for lunch and finish our afternoon with a visit to the National Archives for a taste of Kenyan history, art and culture. For the evening you have the option to take a nap (for those dealing with jet lag) or head out to the shopping plaza for necessities before our dinner at a rooftop restaurant with music.
- Day 3: May 24th (Saturday) - Full day out of city drive to Naivasha for a day on the lake, and to experience the Rift Valley Escarpment before returning to our hotel in the evening.
- Day 4: May 25th (Sunday) - Today we travel to Kenya's most famous game reserve; The Masaai Mara. We will spend 2 days on safari and get the opportunity to spot the big five, learn about conservation efforts and interact with the Maasai community.
- Day 5: May 26 (Monday) - Game drives and relaxation.
- Day 6: May 27th (Tuesday) - Travel back to Nairobi for dinner and entertainment.
- Day 7: May 28th (Wednesday) - Rest day. Guests are invited to explore local markets, restaurants, botanical gardens , hikes and anything of interest within Nairobi (a list of hot spots will be provided).
- Day 8: May 29th (Thursday) - We take a local 1 hour flight to the coastal town of Lamu for a taste of the Swahili culture, architecture, food, and beach life.
- Day 9: May 30th ( Friday) - We will do a walking tour of the city in the morning and a sunset dinner.
- Day 10: May 31st (Saturday)- Breakfast and shopping in the morning. Fly back to Nairobi for our final dinner with friends and music.
- Day 11: June 1st (Sunday) - Depart back to the US. We Trust that you have Engaged And Made Memories (T.E.A.M.M.) #TEAMMTravel
